How do I set up auto alerts from Ovid (i.e. MEDLINE, EBM Reviews, EMBASE, and PsycINFO)?

  1. Create a personal account with Ovid
  2. Choose a database
  3. Search the database on your topic
  4. Under search results, click on Save Search History
  5. Give a name to your search and choose AutoAlert (SDI) under Type
  6. Choose AutoAlert options including email options (inline or as an attachment), output type (HTML or ASCII), and scheduling options (on database update, monthly, weekly, etc.)
  7. Click Save to complete your request
